Transport
Easy, friendly, cheap
This first little C23 ‘community bus’ we got on (top right above) the driver asked whether we were visitors and then said he wouldn’t charge us. Then another passenger started advising us where to go (e.g. the Chinese Garden, half price at that time in the evening) and dug a transport map out of his pack and gave it to us. Soon almost the entire bus was joining in, telling us how to find Gastown, and avoid the dodgy areas, in the most relaxed and friendly way imaginable.
We like this place. Not alone in that.

Dear James and Lesley,
I’ve only just caught up with this wonderful blog. It is quite amazing. I can see a book in the making here!
Continue to enjoy,
Love,
